Cloud computing for Typotheque

The ui42 continues to use innovative Internet and Web technologies for its clients. Nowadays, we started in ui42 to use cloud computing instead of renting physical servers.

The cluster virtual web hosting and database servers for the online sale of fonts Typotheque.com is using Amazon Web Services (AWS), namely the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) and Elastic Load Balancer. For the distribution of content we use Amazon CloudFront - Content Delivery Network (CDN).

Cluster built over the Amazon Web Services allows start  or stop web servers according to immediate  site's load, therefore, the client pays for the operations only when they are actually running. The result is an effective operation of complex web applications - for visitors no loading times and for the client of ui42 good price.
