The client Poni Veni needed a brand that would stand the test of time even beyond borders. We delivered not only a new visual identity but also a comprehensive e-commerce solution built on the BUXUS platform, integrated with Odoo ERP, and driven by a PPC strategy.
A Slovak brand that outgrew its own name
The company Slovenské trvalky has long been successfully operating in the Slovak market. However, it gradually began to encounter the limits of its own brand - the name was understandable, but too narrow for the ambition to grow beyond borders.
Poni Veni is now a Slovak e-commerce brand focused on selling perennials and garden plants. It builds on a combination of its own production and a carefully selected range from external suppliers.
It offers customers not only the plants themselves but also expert information and recommendations that help them in choosing and planning their garden. In addition to end customers, it also serves the B2B segment - garden centers, architects, and developers.

From visual identity to a functioning system
At ui42, we took over the visual identity through the design manual to the UX and UI of the new e-shop. This was followed by development on the BUXUS platform with integration into Odoo ERP, up to PPC campaigns.

Four phases, one thoughtful process

New Brand Identity
We entered the project at the visual identity stage. Our task was to give the new brand a visual form: to design a logo and rules for its use that would work across the web, packaging, and communication.
The original name "Slovenské trvalky" accurately described the product, but it was too local and generic, limiting the brand's further growth and its ambitions to transcend the boundaries of a single segment. The new brand Poni Veni needed a visual that would not just remain with flowers but capture the principle behind them:
Growth, system, and care.
From this emerged a visual language based on the motif of "guidance" - stems, veins, infrastructure that bring life. Poni Veni is a system that takes care of the health of plants and their place in space.

UX Design of the New e-commerce store
UX was influenced by the specific assortment of the brand, where the customer is not just looking for a product, but needs to make the right decision - based on the characteristics of the plants, seasonality, and the final effect in the garden.
The Foundation was IA
A combination of two navigation principles: classic e-commerce categorization and a parallel directory according to botanical genera. The customer can find products either by use or by scientific nomenclature.
Product Listings
The cards contain not only the name and price but also key botanical parameters in the form of pictograms. Filtering is based on real decision-making criteria - light, height, flowering, soil type.
Bed Calculator in the Cart
A feature that shows the customer what area they can plant and how their bed will look over time. UX doesn't end with the purchase - it helps the customer envision the result.
+6,642 hours of additional attention
After launching the new e-shop, the engagement rate jumped by 44% and the bounce rate decreased by 41%. Visitors spend 6,642 more hours on the website than a year ago - they give it real attention and prepare for purchasing decisions.

Development of a New E-shop on the BUXUS Platform
We followed up the UX design with the development of a complete e-shop on our e-commerce solution BUXUS. It was not just about implementing the design, but about designing and realizing a solution built on the real business needs of the client - seasonal assortment, a large number of products, and a combination of own production and purchase.
Integration with Odoo ERP
Odoo = the source of truth for products, prices, warehouses, and customers. BUXUS covers presentation, content, purchasing process, and overall customer experience.
B2B & B2C in One System
Different pricing levels, approval of B2B customers, and different business rules - all managed through ERP.
Dynamic Gift Vouchers
Vouchers as a full-fledged product, not a fixed value. The customer chooses the amount, adds a dedication, and after payment, the system automatically generates a personalized PDF.
Data-driven Integration of Blog and Products
Products are not manually assigned to articles but based on parameters and categories. Thus, the blog functions as a long-term sales tool, not a one-time content.
A new e-shop has opened the doors to performance marketing
Together with the new e-shop, we also revamped the performance campaigns. Performance Max and Shopping campaigns received a new product feed, a clearer structure, and quality landing pages that they can confidently direct to. We built the new website and new campaigns as a single entity - we adapted the design, product cards, and checkout so that PPC campaigns can easily bring a visitor ready to purchase.
Google Ads today brings 73% more revenue than a year ago.
The new website converts clicks into purchases more efficiently, giving Google Ads something to work with. The algorithm learns faster where the buyers are, and revenue grows faster than spend.
