Technical tools without strategic direction did not utilize their full potential.
Dučplant is an established online seller of garden plants, which had technically well-set tools but lacked a strategic approach to marketing. They were looking for a partner who would provide them with complete marketing "under one roof" and help them fully utilize the potential of their technical setup. We believed that if customers receive strategically planned and coordinated content and automations are regularly optimized and tested, not only will communication efficiency increase, but the potential for revenue growth will also significantly increase. The company lacked an editorial calendar, email campaigns were not synchronized with other marketing activities, and the content was not strategically planned.

Creating Systematic Email Marketing
Dučplant customers represent a diverse group of gardeners - from complete beginners to experienced growers. This diversity motivated us to create a structured email marketing strategy that can reach every customer with relevant content at the right time.
The foundation became an editorial calendar with regular Monday newsletters. The newsletter combines four types of content - promotions and discounts, product of the week with growing tips, thematic collections, and communication of USPs, such as special packaging for safe delivery.
Automation and Precise Segmentation for More Relevant Communication
When it comes to communication efficiency, there was an opportunity to provide customers with personalized messages at key moments without the need for manual work. We implemented six automation scenarios covering the entire customer journey.
Automations include a welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, anniversary e-mails, reactivation of inactive customers, up-sell campaigns after small purchases, and automatic review requests.
At the same time, Dučplant customers have different interests and purchasing behaviors - some love herbs, others are into ornamental trees. Our segmentation allows us to send each customer exactly the content they are interested in, without unnecessary spam.
We segmented the database according to purchasing behavior, product interest, customer activity, and demographic characteristics.

Coordinated multi-channel approach
Ducplant customers come from various sources - some search for specific plants on Google, others discover the brand on social media. Our opportunity lay in coordinating all marketing channels so that they support each other and create a consistent experience.
Google Ads campaigns capture customers at the moment of actively searching for plants. Meta Ads on Facebook and Instagram build brand awareness through visual content. SEO marketing ensures long-term organic visibility, content marketing builds trust and expertise, while comparators like Heureka expand reach among price comparators. E-mail marketing then maintains contact with existing customers and turns them into loyal buyers.
