Tips for Extended Weekends

  • Easter Holidays – April 18 to 21 (Friday – Monday)

  • May 1 – falls on Thursday → suitable for a "bridge" with Friday

  • May 8 – again Thursday → ideal for another "bridge"

  • August 29 (Friday) + weekend = 3 days off

  • Christmas – December 24 to 26 connects 3 days off (Wednesday – Friday)

What Not to Forget

  • Some holidays fall on a weekend (e.g., July 5, November 1) and do not provide an additional day off.

  • If you are planning a vacation, we recommend booking 2–3 days off in advance for "bridges" – from 1 day you can get up to 4 days off
