SERP
What does it mean
SERP is an acronym for Search Engine Results Page, which denotes the page with search results that a search engine displays after entering a keyword or phrase. SERP shows a list of results that the search engine considers most relevant to the given search query.
More info
Each entry on the search results page contains the name of the website, its URL address, and a short description of the content. Some search engines also display additional elements, such as images, maps, reviews, and others. Search engine optimization, or SEO, aims to improve positions on the search results page for entered keywords. The higher a page is displayed in the search results for a given keyword, the higher the likelihood that users will click on the website's link and go directly to that page.
