Affiliate marketing
What does it mean
Affiliate marketing is a form of online marketing in which a company pays its partners a commission for each successful transaction that was made through their unique link or code.
More info
This type of marketing is used especially in e-commerce, where partners promote products or services and earn a commission for each purchase or registration that occurs through their link. Affiliate marketing is therefore advantageous for merchants because it allows them to acquire new customers through partners who already have an existing customer base or a high reach on social networks. Partners who decide to promote products or services also benefit because they can earn passive income from the commission for each completed transaction. Moreover, partners do not need to have their own product or service and can focus on promoting products of other companies, which means they do not have to bear their own costs for development, production, or storage of goods.
