Cookies
What does it mean
Cookies are small text files that collect certain information about a website visitor, used by almost every website or application.
More info
Bearing the name of a common sweet, they are beneficial for the website operator themselves, as well as for the user. In reality, this means that with the help of cookies, the website identifies the visitor and optimizes itself according to their last visit. The result is pre-filled settings or data that are not required to be entered by the user redundantly when filling out forms. Cookies pair a unique user ID with their specific settings. You can comfortably browse through pages across the website, or even leave it without having your shopping cart emptied.
